Unique Bridal Luxuries

The Little Things You’ll Wish You Had on Your Wedding Day

When it comes to wedding planning, there are always a million things to do. Pick your floral arrangements and bridesmaid dress colors, taste the wedding cake, book a venue and set a date, find the dress, send out save-the-dates. The list goes on. By the time the big day finally arrives, there are often a few little things we wish we had thought to include to make the day run a bit more smoothly. Or, perhaps, they never crossed our minds at all because there were already a hundred more important things occupying them. Looking back, though, we wish we had.

That’s why we created this list. Here, you’ll find a few ideas for bridal luxuries to incorporate before or on your wedding day. Little details designed to make the experience feel smoother, more pleasurable, and, most importantly, more like you. This is your special day, and every part of it should feel just as beautiful, thoughtful, and extraordinary as the love you’re celebrating.

Custom Bridal Perfume

Going to a perfume bar and designing a signature scent for your wedding day is the perfect way to have something a little extra special and something that will transport you back to the day every time you give yourself a spritz. There is something so beautiful about the memories we attach to scent. Let your wedding day have a scent of its own.

Private Breakfast in Bed

Before a busy day full of getting ready, jitters, and excitement, it’s important to start the day relaxed, and with something in your stomach. A small, intimate breakfast in bed is a simple way to start the day on the right foot and make sure you’ve actually eaten before the festivities begin. Plus, who doesn’t love breakfast in bed?

Bridal Handbag

When getting ready for a wedding and purchasing all the bridal essentials (the dress, the veil, the shoes, the jewelry) it’s easy to forget about one small but very useful accessory: a handbag. Having a small clutch or purse gives you somewhere to stash your lip gloss, breath spray, handkerchief, and anything else you might want within reach throughout the day. If it’s white and complements your dress, even better.

Midnight Snack Cart

This luxury isn’t necessarily reserved for the bride, but it is always a crowd pleaser. When the champagne is flowing and you and your loved ones are dancing the night away, nothing quite hits like a late-night snack reminiscent of the ones you and your college friends used to grab after a night out. Think pizza, cute cups of fries, sliders, or whatever your favorite indulgence might be. It’s a playful, unexpected way to end an unforgettable night.

Private Wellness Morning for the Bride & Wedding Party

The early-morning jitters and excitement are all part of the fun, but some of us brides, especially those of us who live an active lifestyle, crave a little movement or a good sweat to clear our heads. And why should the big day be any different? Booking a private yoga or Pilates class, or even a sauna and cold-plunge session, can be a magical way to start your wedding day. Whether you do it solo or bring along your wedding party, an hour of movement, quiet, and connection can be a beautiful way to begin one of the biggest days of your life.

Letters from Loved Ones

Many of our family members and friends get the opportunity to give speeches during the reception, but there are so many loved ones who have kind words and heartfelt messages about our nuptials and this next stage of life who may never get the chance to share them amid the wedding-day chaos. If you’re part of someone else’s wedding party, consider collecting a few handwritten letters from the bride’s family and friends who aren’t giving toasts or speeches and delivering them to her throughout the day. It can create some of the most intimate and meaningful moments of the entire celebration.

Disposable Cameras Throughout the Day

Distributing disposable cameras to family and friends to use throughout the entire day, not just the reception, can be a priceless gift for the bride. Your wedding photographer will, of course, capture beautiful, professional-quality images, but your loved ones will capture all the intimate, silly, spontaneous moments from their own perspectives. From getting ready in the morning to taking those first bites of cake, these candid photographs become a deeply personal record of the day and a keepsake you’ll cherish for years to come.

Wedding Bouquet Preservation

When we’ve put so much time and thought into curating the perfect wedding bouquet, it can feel like a shame to enjoy it for one day before escaping off on our honeymoon and eventually returning home to the wilted remnants of our favorite flowers from our favorite day. Instead, consider preserving your bouquet. There are so many beautiful ways to do this, whether it’s sealing the blossoms in resin, having them framed as a pressed-flower piece, or even extracting their fragrance and turning the scent of your bouquet into a keepsake perfume or candle.

Honeymoon Care Package

As a wedding gift from the bride’s girlfriends, put together a little honeymoon care package for your friend to open after the wedding and take along on her first adventure as a newlywed. Fill it with anything from lingerie and chocolates to location-specific treats, like a fun bikini set for a tropical getaway or a pair of monogrammed mittens for a cozy mountain honeymoon. It’s a thoughtful way to extend the celebration just a little bit further and give the bride something fun to look forward to once the wedding day is over.
