The Black V Mule pairs its versatile block heel with a Jaguar Elsie ankle strap for a polished mix of classic black and animal print. Inspired by design icon and queer pioneer Elsie de Wolfe, the detachable strap adds rich texture and just enough personality for workdays, travel, dinner, and wherever the day takes you. A padded insole and bunion friendly cut keep things comfortable for longer wear, and you can simply swap in another Alterre strap whenever the mood strikes.

Fits snug at first and softens over time to comfortably mold to your foot.

  • 3" heel made of recycled plastic.
  • Foam padded insole, extended point for wider toe box, pattern cut to accomodate bunions.
  • Goat leather and calf hair uppers, calf leather lining, eco-leather composite sole.
  • Butterfly Mark and LWG Gold certified (see sustainability tab for more info).
  • Mule can be worn with all Alterre straps, Elsie strap can be worn with most Alterre shoe bases.
  • Available in regular full sizes 6 - 10 (see sizing guide for best fit).
  • Fits snug at first but leather loosens to mold to your feet over time.

Fits small. Half sizes should size up if size not available. Leather will stretch with wear.

Returns/Exchanges

We will accept any unworn items fully packaged within 30 days of your order date unless it is a sale item. All "sale" and "clearance" items are final sale. We do not offer returns on gift cards.
